BJ Penn was a guest on JRE this week. They discussed jiu-jitsu a little, but not enough. Still, I liked this from BJ about his rise through the ranks:

People ask me, they say, how did you get a black belt in three years? Was it desire? Was it the dedication? Was it drive?

And I always looked at them. I always look at them and say, it was fun. I had fun. That’s the only way. You need to find what you love to do and become the best at it.
