This morning, I told my teacher how I had a round with a partner and was “stuck” on bottom side control the entire round. First question he asked was about my sleep the night before.
Anything, everything, is a factor. For anything and everything.
If you started training with someone else at the same time, and one of you advanced to the next promotion first, don’t compare yourselves, and don’t be encouraged or discouraged. Everyone’s unique lives and experiences make it impossible to have a fair and true comparison.
That one factor, start date, is one of many that we know of. But we don’t know what we don’t know about someone else.
